‘I’ve never laughed so much or so hard. My kids (1 and 4) are absolutely infuriating, demand so much of me and are so bloody expensive – and I do miss the kid-free weekends. But they are also hilarious! Toddlers have no filter and have accidentally impeccable comic timing.

‘Getting to assist Santa on Christmas Eve makes all the magic I felt as a kid come back. The awe on their face as they saw Santa’s footprints and when they talked about hearing his sleigh bells… just the best.

‘Seeing the world through their eyes. Walks taking forever because every ladybird is exciting, stopping everything to watch the bin lorry, everything is interesting.

‘Hearing my two children chat when they don’t know I can hear. They talk about life and give advice and they’re so empathetic and kind and mature. It makes me extremely proud and excited for their future.
