A Farage fan asked ‘Why do people find it so hard to accept the public really wants to vote for Reform?’, and got thoroughly schooled – 21 brutally honest assessments

One by one all of the lies Nigel Farage and his goons have told been exposed repeatedly. None of the promises delivered.
So when he makes new promises that are also blatant lies and borderline impossible to deliver on, and people seem to garner support again, it gets frustrating.

Nigel Farage has been caught in so many lies and is honestly an all round bad egg with a dangerous mindset. As a woman I am genuinely worried about Reform coming to power as they certainly dont have my best interests at heart.

I find it hard to accept that people can look at the right wing racist regime in the US and think yes that will make Britain better. Reform are a watered down Trump GOP.

Reform’s successes are as much to do with how FPTP amplifies the largest minority even when most people dislike them.

“Some people just want to make the world a worse place , why can’t you just accept that?!”

The evidence is that the people who vote for them are largely going to suffer the most as a result of their policies. This is pretty much the entire reason.

I didnt want to believe I lived in such a close-minded racist country that people would throw their own rights away because there’s some scary brown people on a boat.

Farage isn’t going to give people what they ‘want’. He’s going to lie, settle vendettas and embezzle from the treasury.

Why do I find it ‘so hard to accept’? Well, I have half a brain so I will never accept fascism and the removal mine and other’s rights. I will go crashing down into my grave not accepting this catastrophe.

Remember Brexit? Yeah that’s why.

There were some Reform supporters in the comments. Like this –

A lot of people are completely and utterly willfully ignorant of how much of an issue immigration actually is.

The British public has been voting to reduce immigration for decades. Brexit was, first and foremost, a conclusive vote against immigration. Since then, immigration has only increased – and not just increased, but switched to cultures which ‘clash’ more than previous immigrants did. During/after Covid immigration reached incredible highs and it’s a wave that is very much felt by ordinary people.

So, of course people are now looking to parties who take a harder line and actually seem like they might, finally, listen to the will of the people.

It’s unfortunate that the only party that seems to have any spine to stand up to the far left is Reform, whom by all other accounts than immigration are a travesty of a party who will ruin this country. But that doesn’t matter when immigration is becoming a great single issue.
