‘Not having children yet. I adore all kids and have been super super close to my nieces and nephews since I was a teenager myself. My dream has always been to be a mom but I decided to wait till 30 and I have no regrets at all. I feel it was the perfect decision for my life and my child’s life’

‘Me and my girlfriend at the time just used to get into my car and drive. We would pack up for a weekend/week and just go on random trips. Pick a direction until we found somewhere cool then explore. Took us all over Canada and the US. This was early 2000s so no apps on your phone to guide you.’

‘Sleeping around. I did it. It was fun. I got lucky and never got anyone pregnant or a disease. In my 30s and now in my 40s, I have zero interest in sowing my oats. I’m happily married and don’t feel the urge to cheat. I see many men my age start having affairs because they feel like they missed out on something in their 20s. They ruin a good thing by stepping out. I lived that life and don’t need to do it again.’

‘Not quite 30 yet, but my older sisters answer never changes. She doesn’t regret quitting her “sensible” job at 25 and moving cities with almost no plan. She said the first year was messy and she was broke half the time, but it’s also when she actually figured out who she was. She still talks about it like it was the most alive she’s ever felt. She is said it’s not for everyone, but for her it worked out.’

‘At 40: playing a ton of videogames and generally just being chill. There’s a lot of things I wish I had done in addition to that, but I don’t feel like it was a waste of time looking back on it at all.’
