Nozzle pressure on an 1 1/2″ line will be a minimum of 125 PSI. 2 men are required to hold it down! The “back-up man here is to far back to help hold it. Also, nozzleman is holding the line to high, he has no leverage.

In navy basic at fire training we had 4 or 5 people holding the fire hose. This was 45 years ago but I can still hear “relieve the nozzle man” chant so the guy in front could move to the back of the group. It was very strenuous. 😫
