Donald Trump met grieving families of fallen US military and turned it into a White House helipad photo op and precisely zero people were surprised – 17 scathing takedowns

"Yeah, your child is dead, but look at my cool new toys!"

I don't know how we ever recover from accepting this. From excusing this. https://t.co/ILRKlB0XNh

When my son was a preschooler, he loved dinosaurs. He created a “museum” throughout our house with his toy dinosaurs. He called his pap and begged him to come over. Once he arrived, my son enthusiastically took him through the exhibits.
This is like that.

These poor families make the ultimate sacrifice, and Trump's response is as tone deaf and unempathetic as humanly possible.

It's almost as if Trump is trying to get everyone in the world to hate his guts.
